Haha, I was in another group, someone was having a meltdown saying he had supported safc for 70 years and this was the worst team he had seen. I told him to stop being a fanny and got a warning from some jumped up wannabee. Telt him to fuck off anarl and left the group.

Dear SAFC in our blood membership,

As I was a couple of hours ago, you’re probably wondering what happened in the group.

Well first and foremost as admins, please be assured that we’re doing our best to re-add people you have been removed or blocked from the group, and as quickly as possible.

What happened, well the original founder of the group ‘The Founder’ had decided to step down as an admin a few weeks ago to concentrate on other things. The Founder also made the decision to remove themselves entirely as a member.

I for one am thankful for the work that The Founder and many others have done to setup and nurture one of the best, if not THE best SAFC groups on FB.

In recent days, it came to the admin teams attention that negative remarks were being posted about the group and membership, instigated by The Founder.

Yesterday, The Founder requested addition back into the admin team. He stated that he was very unhappy about certain posts & opinions being allowed. This was considered and debated at length within the admin team, however given certain public statements about the group, and some private messages from The Founder (as evidenced by the admins), The Founder was informed that their request was being declined.

As the group has grown, opinions have diversified, and with opinions come passions. We all have similar passions and as admins we feel that it’s reasonable, and indeed essential, to maintain a balanced view of opinions. The Founder apparently did not agree with this.

The Founder’s passion appears to have spilled over and they gained access as an admin, thus causing the last 2+ hours of chaos.

We sincerely apologize, and we will get things back to normal as soon as we can. We wish The Founder well with their new endeavors.

Why’s this bloke referred to as The Founder? Is he some kind of super villain?
