This game. Pathetic. Went to the game with my brother who is here from Poland and first time in years. Couldn't believe the demise. Watched that half and We are done.
We have people who own SAFC and run SAFC who are not SAFC fans and have no emotional attachment to it. A recipe for disaster. Coupled with the fact that they are absolutely f***ing useless and you can see why we are where we are.

Have you asked the hard working staff if they support the club? takes more than an owner and CEO to run the club, it's been many problems that weren't addressed and those problems needs fixing now.

What, youre blaming everyone but the owner and the CEO for SAFC's problems? Bizarre.

Stakeholder engagement, Organisational behavior, On-field performance, Resource management just to name a few that need to be addressed.

What issues have caused this shambles that weren’t the responsibility of Short or Bain then?
Well Adam Johnson for a start, probably Ricky Alvarez, Culture of the club

And who sets the tone from the top? Who is responsible for making sure that the culture is correct? who is responsible for organisational behaviour?

The way the club handled johnson was poor due to someone Short put in post (if you believe Short didn’t know at the time which i find hard to believe). Alvarez was brought in by someone Short put in post, then tried to get out of an agreement when they realised they’d fucked up.

Its Shorts responsibility to sort the culture of the club, or put people in roles capable of doing it. He hasn’t done either imo. The buck stops with him

Strategy is set at the top and it's employees who implement that strategy clearly their has been a break down in the chain, that break down needs to be identified, the responsibility is down to department heads for both culture and organisational behaviour, they need to buy into what the club is trying to achieve, their has been a breakdown you only need to look at AJ and Gibson as examples.

Very simple just to say the bucks stops with him as he has hired them to do a job and he sacked them because they couldn't, reality people were trusted to do a job, now normally hiring actually involve the Board that Short has in place they do intelligence and due diligence before hiring any candidate to major roles.

How does that work when he hired friends instead of football people?

I guy that is from the US and doesn't really understand football hasn't hired his friends, quite clear they have been recommended by either Board or someone else he trusts in business.
