SAFC in Europe...

Before you ask, no the tickets won’t be £10

I think people will realise it could be a one off chance to see us in Europe. I was young and didn’t go to Roker last time around, thinking there would be many more.
If I’d known,
I’d have begged for the extra money they were charging.
The way the club is going, it'd probably be £40+ like league games

Around 1990 I was working with a lad who was putting away £5 a week to pay for a potential European away games. He'd been doing it for a few years before then as well.
I wonder if he's still doing it.

Quite right too, why should something we’ve wanted for years be discounted?
“The way the club is going” is hopefully to be competitive with long standing Prem league teams, and being well run is a must.

I was referring more to blocking corporate people from normal tickets.

Likewise I was at both home games, in the Fulwell loud and proud.
Same age as you and from Jarra also
I recall the Lisbon tickets went on sale on the Sunday morning, we'd played at Oxford the day before travelled back up and kipped outside the ground waiting for the tickets going on sale.

Why I know loads of lads who have travelled watching the lads all over the country since the 70s in the back of vans and hitched but they are now in a position where they have boxers, sports bar and buisness lounge tickets. They deserve away tickets just like the rest of us . Mind I know 5 lads who have sports bar tickets and they have just been informed that they will not be getting away tickets next season and they will have no loyalty points . Those lads don’t deserve that

I have never seen Sunderland in my life time (61) in Europe was hoping we win a Cup Final 1992 or League Cup Final 1985,2013

I was there in 73 , never seen them win again till wycombe obviously. Wife and grandson have a 100% record from the playoffs . I'm trying to tell them it's not always like that .😀

Didn't people bouycott* the two home games because the club doubled the normal price. I know I missed both matches but I don't remember the reason why.
* FTM.
