In playing terms, the gap is much bigger as what few senior players we have aren't playing. Of the four players we have who are over 25, three are injured and the fourth has just been suspended.Leeds are doing well considering their average age is only a year older.
Leeds only a year older and doing well though- we need to now have a strategy to more or less keep the model but add experience in critical positions ( CM, CF and maybe GK) whilst moving in to the next level of youngsters been signed and affording chances for youngsters of our own.When you see stuff like that it just makes you think what on earth are we doing as a club?
