You cannot criticise and even humiliate players in public - even those you deem 'worthy' of it or expendable - and then expect the rest of the team to play with confidence and trust.

With that said, he should not be sacked so soon into his legacy - and not after bringing in so many players. Like it or not, this is now his team and his vision and he will live and die by it this season.

With that said, I do not believe should never have been appointed. It was a very bad appointment for you.

On the basis of what?
We were sleep walking to relegation under O'Neill and he came in with 7 games to go and miraculously kept us up, looking back at the side at our disposal at the back end of last season it's a mystery how we managed to survive. In that 7 games he managed vicotires over Newcastle and Everton, something that the 2 managers previous to him could not. For once we finally have some sort of valid long term plan and vision in the club, and an actual professional scouting system that's already taking it's toll. Why was it a bad appointment?

We are on about DiCanio not Brendan Rogers man.

There is little or no chance of PDC being sacked. ES has bought into the "revolution" and he will see it through. No way is he going to sack the manager and start all over again with a new man, new back room staff, scouts, players etc

After the players we have brought in it would be absolutely ludicrous to do so.

Many of us on here expressed deep concerns on a league one manager jumping up to the Premier League, but we were shot down in flames by the kids and bellends on here.

Paolo Di Canio is out of his depth in this division.

I pray Ellis Short sees sense and appoints Gus Poyet, just to give us a fighting chance of surviving.

Ah so you wish to replace PDC as he has no experience at this level, and replace him with Gus Poyet?

Tell me who Poyet has managed at this level

Wrong choice of words there mate, you're stitching yourself up, *scouting system that's already paying dividends* may be what you were thinking of?
