Tried to watch it for the cricket but I just can’t take these franchises seriously man.

Pleased for Jof though. Be great for England if he can get in good shape for the summer. He must’ve barely played for what, 3 years?
 
I could probably get into these tournament more if they didn't keep focusing on the daft nicknames. Can't work out who's who if they don't tell you where they're from. "Sunrisers" and "Super Giants" means nowt to me

It's just a shame about the whole IPL influence otherwise I'd probably quite enjoy it. Players playing for the franchise they play for in that tournament rather than their local team. Like de Kock pitching up in Durban and Miller in Paarl. Caught a bit yesterday, the cricket was average and you had the usual who's playing for who confusion you always get with these tournaments, but with the weather and the packed banks it did look inviting

Didn't realise the Dubai one is ipl influenced too.

Good for the English players they seem to be picked up en masse in both comps. Just had seen how Ahmed had been getting on and seen all the English names across the sides in both of the games they've played.
