There is pretty much an off-topic post on every single page. All 656 of them. All you’re doing by bringing it up is contributing further to it.

It’s quite telling though that certain posters only take issue with it when a particular political party are brought up.

Don’t like that? Just ignore those posts and get on with it. Otherwise all you’re doing is contributing further to the thing you claim not to like.

Even as the rouble is worthless - and the Russians are about to Take to the streets because they can no longer afford food

Or even as he sees 5000 Russian casualties as his demoralised troops crawl through the country like sitting ducks

This can go 3 possible ways

1. A compromise thst stops the carnage

2.A Russian bombardment that razes cities to the ground

3. A nuclear escalation

probably the entirely wrong time to say this, but no other nationality is treat with such contempt as Russians in the media. Every film with bad guys has them using a thinly veiled Russian accent. If that was any other nationality there would be outrage at hollywood etc. Yes, the system is rotten and Putin is a thug but so is Saudi Arabia's and if ordinary Saudis were treat that way the cries of racism etc, would be loud and long. Yep, not the right time, but all the Russian people Ive met have been smart, hardworking and fun loving and rarely complain...a bit fatalistic it has to be said..'but that's Russia for you' being the usual shrugged answer to hard questions..but they are far from demons.When it comes to immigrants..not the oligarch type but ordinary people..a country could do a lot worse.

Well he hasn't got that much choice - now that the global financial system has a ligature around his neck rapidly cutting off the blood supply

and we need to take advantage of that fact and provide him an exit point

otherwise this could get serious

I note Lukashenko has declared Belarus a nuclear power again .
.....And the US has ordered it's staff out of Minsk embassy

Ie ....Minsk now a viable nuclear target
