It was the need to secure currencies when so many countries were left indebted as a result of the war. They set up the IMF, World Bank and when the US pegged the dollar to gold as most other countries had already done, it became the reserve currency. We were simply too broke and vulnerable to price and inflationary shocks to provide a stable currency for global trade.

It is great that Norway are doing things like this. It’s part of a multibillion dollar programme from Norway that has been running for a while that funds military and humanitarian needs in Ukraine.

The story Borolad has wrapped around it is par for the course for the weird fantasist.
