In fairness to Fishpaste, he is hit and miss but it was backed up by another source.

That it was also reported by Footy Insider suggests that there has been some kind of issue - it's not in anyone's interest to just make it up, everyone involved wants the deal to happen. Maybe it's now been sorted.

I'm sure Ross's agent is sweating buckets at this point.
