Rush: Fifty Something Tour


I prefer all the older stuff like, even though I’m 38 so wasn’t around for it, but I’m a guitar man so I prefer the riffier stuff. There’s some good stuff after Moving Pictures but it became almost like the Police at times, too many synths and not enough guitar for me. Love Snakes and Arrows and Clockwork Angels is fantastic, a great return to form even though it was their last, but a good one to finish on. Be chuffed if Caravan and The Garden stay in the set. Have never seen them due to getting into them after they’d packed in so can’t wait.
 
Anika has been really, really impressive. Absolutely nailing Neil Peart`s parts. So glad they`re back. Can`t wait to see them next year. What a bold move opening with Xanadu. Bloody brilliant.
 
I’ve ended up sitting and watching the whole show on YouTube from a guy who’s filmed it all 😂 (no idea how or why people go to shows and sit and record it all but I’m pleased in this instance). Our gigs seem so far away. So much so after seeing this and how good of a show it is I might add a London ticket to my Manchester show 😃
