Rumours about our nearest & dearest trying to get into the Wolves game

I couldn’t give a shit. When I hear stories about the gillingham game it means nothing to me.
Even if the roles were reversed I wouldn’t care

As far as I am aware, it was to stop you lot getting hold of them. Apparently there's already been some cancelled that they thought had got into the wrong hands. How any Newcastle fans managed to get hold of these I don't know. They should have given Wolves the maximum allocation possible.

The mentality of the people in charge of SAFC is bewildering.
That's pretty ridiculous. Not as ridiculous as Keith Downie reporting it as fact, but ridiculous nonetheless.

Typical overreaction. 1 fucker hit a horse and it was all of us. 1 berk got into a norwich game and now we all do it. (He probably lives in Norwich)
The fiction generated on here about Mags could fill a book thicker than Game of thrones

Newcastle fans didn't get hold of them.
A wolves fan tweeted a pic of his and his mates tickets. A Newcastle fan then took that pic and posted it on his twitter pretending they were his.
Sunderland promptly cancelled the poor Wolves lads tickets based on a tweet of all things.
Newcastle fans buying tickets for the Wolves end is simply are none story, there isn't anywhere near enough for the Wolves fans never mind Newcastle fans.

No wonder your club is in the shit financially if you sacrifice tens of thousands of pounds of ticket revenue on the back of an internet rumour by restricting ticket sales.
To be fair if the rumour is on the SMB it must be true.

Road blocks on the A19, Typhoon fighter bombers circling the SOL and a nuclear submarine patrolling the Wear to keep those pesky Mags out so I hear

Any Sunderland fan selling their ticket to a Mag or buying a ticket for a mag is never a Sunderland fan anyway!
If a mag offered my stupid money to buy them one I would give it serious consideration. If they are stupid enough to part with their money and risk a kicking, let them get on with it.

Ironically, I remember a game against Wolves in the early 90s that the club made all ticket, because they thought there would be a big demand because of who we were playing and wanted to avoid crushing etc. Obviously back in those days most people without a season ticket just paid on the gate so the crowd ended up being 15k and the Wolves fans were taking the piss when the attendance was read out.

The same person who was in charge of these decisions back then must still be at the club now.

Then when they get that kicking and they trace back where the ticket came from, it's your purchase history that comes up and you get banned.

Yeah, that's why I probably wouldn't do it.

My son is on holiday for the last game anyway, if some mag offered him daft money for his season ticket and he took it I wouldn't blame him. We're in the concourse anyway so will be getting new tickets. He could just say he chucked his ticket away in disgust if a mag gets caught with it.

You lads do know that every mag and his uncle will be looking for a stream for this game just to see the attendance after all this fuss don't you?

Or, the club want to make every penny they can so ignore the rumours which are widely reported & there’s trouble inside the ground & some gets hurt. A woman or child. I think they’ve made the only sensible decision. Try their best to avoid potential trouble & humiliation. Fuck the money.

So?

So?

Should put that under your badge tbh.

Sensible decision  It's just some trolling on twitter, man.

Go to any football match in the top 2 leagues and the chances are there will be fans from teams other than the away team in the away end.
It happens, there's never any bother reported, but because this is Newcastle and Sunderland, it has to be different.

If I had twitter I would be tempted to tweet that me and a dozen of my mates are practicing to storm the Sol by parachute for the Wolves game, post a picture of the Red Devils Parachute display team as irrefutable proof and see if they quickly try to get a roof built in time.
