The Mag is ran by Sunderland fans on a wind up anyway. The aren't even subtle about it you only need to read the "articles".
Its easily the most amateur childish fanzine ive read. Resorting to trawling message board comments for articles is journalistic desperation, and I use journalistic in the loosest sense of the word.

Was past caring when they got promoted, couldn't give a shit about them winning the league.

No idea what point they're trying to make like, it's not as if they didn't cry about getting dry humped six times in a row and relegated.

4 pages of "not bothered"

The lady doth protest too much methinks

The mags having a laugh at our expense all over fb ... why do people comment during the match. As if we haven't been embarrassed enough this season
The Mag have been running those 'articles' all season.

They obviously think they're doing it in the style of the Paddy Power fan fail videos. But they've completely missed the point.

Literally copying and pasting the shite we all post on here and passing it off as humour is fckin desperate like.

I had no idea what you were on about, I clicked on the link and I have no idea what they're on about.

Apparently their happiness regarding being promoted is enhanced because the Championship they thought was their birthright but turned out to be really difficult and they because someone else failed to win at the last moment?

Is a reason why I should be upset?

Bollocks.

I support Sunderland. If other SAFC fans choose to try to take the piss/ make a fool of themselves on Facebook? So be it.
That's life.
That's football.

You put something on the SMB and it's there forever unless the thread is pulled. Let them go for it... what's the fuss about?

FWIW, an image of a black & white coffin/chair or a defaced bedsheet is far more cringe worthy.
