.. They often report the rumours they read on football forums, I reckon .. And the shit goes round and round ..

West Ham free kick, West Ham volley, performance away at Norwich, debut pass for Murphy, seem to remember a game where he and Richardson played in centre midfield together and we looked miles better than we had previously with the likes of Whitehead and Etuhu (think Richardson might have scored two that game actually).

It’s easy to remember the highlights I suppose but I always liked him. Fitness obviously a problem but he was a good signing.
Decent enough signing aye, and had quality, but could also frustrate the life outta me. Bit of a luxury really, who couldn't be relied on due to the obvious fitness issue.

Injuries hampered him as well. Bit of a nasty cycle; he probably got injured due to his weight and his injuries meant keeping it off was hard for him. I think he shed a load of weight and started to look very good and then got injured (IIRC, though I may be wrong, he was excellent at Man United away when he was trim - the late own goal game)

The pass was better than the goal for me, and the goal was magnificent. What a player Reid was. There was that one summer where he went away, got fit, and came back and looked phenomenal. Then he got injured and put the weight back on again. Still, what an absolute joy of a player. Him and Malbranque around that time, glorious.
Could be wrong but when I see that photo of the daft knacka in a mag top at a SAFC game (Norwich?) Im sure thats the time when Reid had lost his weight and was impressive that night.

Class act. Delighted if he is coming. Good character and hopefully the players could learn a lot from him if they wanted too.

Maybe we've already recruited. Proctor and dodds. An epic partnership like Magnet and steel. They operate outside the usual laws of management.
Proctor and Dodds. If you’ve got a problem, and no-one else can solve it, if you’ve got an own goal to score, and no-one else can deflect it, if you’re on a losing streak, and no-one else can stop it, then call … Proctor and Dodds.
