On the contrary. The worse we are presently in the short term, the better it will look for any new manager not only for the expected manager bounce effect but because, currently, we sit around 23rd position in the form table.
He’s not going to be able to do put in 3 months tho. Anyone who takes it is on to a loser.

Most clubs change manager at times like this. Yes, they've let things drag on to the extent that we can wave goodbye to automatic promotion, but taking over a team that is out of form is nothing unusual for a new manager. And any manager worth his salt would look at our L1 squad and believe he can turn them around. If anything the pressure is off for this season.

Club needs to make a choice quickly. Do they pay the extra for a manager who will put 5000 on the average gate or save money and go for a manager who will take 10000 of the average gate. Its pretty much come down to that with the fans feeling boiling over.

Can’t be turned round this season. We will loses 5/6 of our first team squad in summer too.
Defoe, Clark, Roberts, dajaku, Hoffman and Doyle all be our of cont tact or end of loan.
If I was Roy and really wanted it I would wait till end of season.

Wondered whether it was safe to pop my head back in this place after last night. Nope.

He’s just piggy backing the ill feeling on social media like the tabloid vulture he is.
There’s been plenty of that through the season.

Anti LJ campaigns, demands to show who owns the club, then cult of Keano, now outrage.

I didn’t think the club would fold, the board’s heads in the sand.

Is anyone even bothered any more?
I’m starting to lose interest, the club have absolutely killed it. If keanes announced today it will give me and pretty much everyone a massive lift but I’m just resigned to some shite getting it and for us to plod along, sacking him in December and doing the same thing over again. They just need to give Keane 18 / 30 month contract and see what he can do.

True, but if it’s not an exciting appointment whoever gets it will not get the lickings of a dog.

I wish we had just stuck with Johnson tbh

only because we havent got a new manager in already to kick on and try to gain promotion. actually fallen apart because of the sacking. How speakman has decided this was a good plan will make KLD and everyone associated with the club put a massive question mark against him. Supposed to have clear strategy for these types of thing, its literally why you have a DOF - to plan smarter and act smarter.
