He would be mad to.

He could win 10 games in a row and still not have enough for automatic promotion.

Lose to a deflected goal in the playoff final for example and you'd have a large percentage of our fans then labelling him a failure for not going up.

The time for him to take it was before Doncaster, with that game and Cheltenham being two of the kindest fixtures any new manager could ask for.

Unfortunately our board probably have him pencilled in for fourth round interviews this week.

The opportunity has been and gone IMO.

Clear the shite out on the summer and build a squad capable of standing up to a 46 game league one season. Without any interference from clueless ex-u14 coaches.
 
He’s going to certainly a contract longer till the end of the season. Club has pissed about far too long. Sacking LJ without a replacement smacks of incompetence. It’s simply not good enough.

I really think it was the Defoe situation I wanted him back as much as anyone KLD knew the fans were all buzzing for it to happen the stumbling block was LJ I truly believe that's why he was sacked and that's why there is no back up plan re a replacement.
