This was partly my reason for my AN vote – although he’s not quite the Bright Young Thing he’s only 40 and has promotions on his CV.

But if it’s Keane, then I’ll just strap myself in, get behind him as Head Coach the and enjoy the carpet ride.
Likewise. I’d be happy with Keane, satisfied with Neil, gutted with pretty much everyone else linked other than Manning and obviously Edwards as mentioned but think they might not be available quickly enough as under contract and doing well.

Exactly the same here. There is something about Neil, his record and what you read about him that makes a load of sense, However, now that Keane is in discussion etc. it would give some amazing excitement. It could easily go wrong but I doubt anyone wouldn't be excited. Making a guess I think the club has sacked Johnson with the expectation of appointing Neil or McCann but found out about Keano's interest after this and its thrown everything up in the air.

sigh..roy keane is an after dinner spoeaker...i once booked rob brydon to do after dinner speaking..he was eight grand and was shit at it..jimmy carr was 25k..
do you think if brydon is 8k..keano could get 10k?
do 2 of those a week for forty weeks a year..he is already trousering £800k..
thats before his TV contract with ITV and Sky are considered and his sponsorship revenue from skybet and anyone else...
safc manager wont be on more than 400k id have thought..
a pundit of his profile will be getting several grand a game...
Keane does not "need" the big salary. He is wealthy beyond most.

Roy Keane has famously questioned footballers motivation.

"Why do they need 5 cars?"
"How many times do you want to be a millionaire?"

2 quotes directly attributed to him about young footballers and what is, or is not important.
This is not about the money he might earn.
This is about doing it right.
This is about whether the people in charge will give him the resources to do the job properly.

Break that figure down marra
Im guessing but its a blunt calculation 10000 extra to gate £25 per ticket =250 thousand .....wont be that as not all adults so i go for 6000 adult tickets x 25 = 175 thousand ....whatever it is it was a substantial sum!
