I think it's Keanes to turn down. If he does reject us I suspect it'll be Warnock until the end of the season
That’s exactly what I would go with. Experience, confidence, arrogance, impact. And he knows he’s too old to look much past the summer and be involved in plans and project bollocks. In, do a job, get a nice promotion bonus, fuck off.
I still want Keane though.
 
The way this is dragging on points to him not wanting to work with a director of football. He has probably met speakman and thought he was a dick.
 
If there had been forums like this back in the 60's, this same conversation would have been going on about a young manager called Brian Clough.
He was desperate to come here when the vacancy came up.(After Brown I think. Maybe wrong on that)
We fucked about and gave it to someone else, he went eventually to Derby, and the rest is history.
Let's not regret giving this a go.

except that roy keane isnt young..and clough ahdnt spent the prior 13 years out of management
