Your at the wrong place mate.
all done at the AOL nowadays
Contracts can be docusigned remotely these days.

Him/his solicitor signing on his behalf doesn't even have to be there surely.

I'd be wanting to get it announced ASAP even if he wasn't available in person at AOL for a curtain reveal.

Sad isnt it?..........if its not keane it will be someone who is out of work at the moment ie they have just failed at another club (no compo required)and has league one promotion experience....... so mcann or some other parky clone will be our new manager!
But Keane has been out of management work for years now.

If Keane was to reject any sort of decent deal he would loose credibility as this is the perfect chance for him to have another go at being a manager.
I understand your point but the problem with this, Hodge, is what does "decent" mean? It differs for everyone. If Keane rejects our offer (if we've made one) he clearly doesn't think it's decent, whereas the club thinks it is.

I'm going to be in the minority but there shouldn't be a comprise from the way the club want things done. Keano works for us or he doesn't.
Keane had his fingers burnt at Ipswich if you remember, he was promised a lot and initially got some of it, within 6 month the owner stopped funding the club and his remit changed. Also, Keane won’t want to be judged on 4 months of work as well

Get your point but football clubs are different to normal businesses
If we had a brilliant model that was delivering, or at least showing signs of delivering then I would agree

HOWEVER, the club needs a massive shake

If we don’t bring Roy in and see some “coach” who doffs his cap to authority then we will have a massive cultural problem in the club and the support base

I dont see a bigger club than us making an approach for him.
It is not about a bigger club, there is a lot of talk about our club being run wrong. The state of the pitch etc. Keane is no yes man like LJ, if he gets any sniff of anything he will want assurances… and rightly so imho.

He wasn’t.
“Stands to reason if you believe stuff about #safc planning to do second interviews with candidates this week then you must also believe that Roy Keane isn’t first choice, he’s just a candidate. And if he’s just a candidate, I doubt he will come. I think this is all buying time

EDIT: Looked pretty negative to me.

This all depends on compromise between Roy Keane and Speakman, in Roy Keane’s actual role and also contract length it’s not financial, last week there was a ‘verbal agreement’
You’d think in terms of contract length the club have to realize 3 months isn’t reasonable. Unless Keane wants more than 18, which would be a risk, they should give him what he wants.

I’m more worried about the “actual role” part.

I hope they can come to terms because the other reality is just depressing: a manager no one wants and Speakman having massively damaged his relationship with the supporters.

Think he comes?

I really cannot see Roy giving up the chance to be Idolised again like his last visit.

He's been a top top professional and he knows what it is the be the leader, leading his team on.

Its an ego thing too.....he'll f***ing miss all that massively, sitting in studio's is boring as fuck for him you can see it in his face practically every time he's on.....Ha'way Roy get it signed.
