Bruce hated anyone that wasn't his man.

It took him about a year to work out where best to play Steed, the muppet. And even then he'd haul him off on 60 minutes rain or shite to give Elmo a run out.
Well Kenwyne clearly wasn’t one of his men. Basically said as much at that talk in.

I just can't see us throwing the entire model out of the window mate. And don't thikn we should either.

That is why I thought KLD would never accept RK as Manager but I was wrong. Maybe Speakman will have to work alongs Keane on transfers. He did say that LJ had the final say on all transfers and we know that Winchester was LJ’s choice.

I'm not going to check back 100 pages to see if this has been seen but looks like they are working on Keane while working on backup in case he walks away from the deal. Sensible approach if you ask me.

Final say is very different to being in charge. It's been said over and over, we have a recruitment team. The manager has input and a veto etc. etc. but not overall control because that's how we ended up on our knees financially.

Keane himself has said he wants to focus on the coaching more than contracts etc.

All clubs have recruitment teams, scouts, budgets etc.

The question is whether or not the manager chooses the players, working to a budget. If he does, then fine - and I'm sure Keane would be happy for them to put whatever layer of pseudo-corporate jargon bullshit over the top of it.

It is on reflection, but it’s a must that we offer him at least 18 months. Would be harsh just to offer a short term deal to any canditate imo.

They also do need to hurry up, our caretaker bosses don’t have a clue bless them. At least Sbragia was tactically okay to begin with.

I think he’ll be appointed but attractive emotionally though it is I’m far from convinced it’s the right decision. Similar to Defoe, I love him and think he can be useful but it would probably have been better in many ways to get like for like competition for Stewart.
Keane and Defoe are box office and have a clear allure but I think they are more emotional than pragmatic. Because of their previous quality they are worth a gamble but we shouldn’t kid ourselves that either guarantee anything other than media coverage and bigger gates for a while.
Sometimes emotion can win the day mate. Who knows? Time will tell. One thing I do know is I don’t want to see another insipid heartless meek surrender the likes of which we’ve seen recently. It’s inexcusable and unacceptable at any level of competitive sport.

I genuinely think Keane is a bit different to back in the day. We also had no setup in the club etc so help identify players, it's a bit different now.
Agreed. Seems funny that people mention his man management style, as if he won’t be aware of it himself.

Not really.
Do you see dead people?

Our dead loved ones will make themselves known to you as a message from them, like a white feather, or a unique number, or heart shapes showing up everywhere.

This is the reason that accountants, geologists and chicken pluckers are usually people with a large number of dead loved ones.

We need him in ASAP ffs.

There is no way this can drag on beyond tomorrow. Would be absolutely shambolic.

Get it agreed and announced today, in tomorrow to meet staff.

Take training Thursday (assuming they have a day off tomorrow?)

Listened to Keane and Neville interview and remember him saying "not many clubs will have my name on the list" so if he is trying to hold us over a barrel then I would go no further. He is coming to a big club and has potential for promotion, if he is daft enough not to take it then so be it.
