Moreover, I hoyed up a piece from David Walsh in yesterday's Sunday Times in which Keane said words to the effect that he'd still want to be our head coach even if we were a non-league club, such is his regard for the place & its people. That doesn't suggest to me that he's going to be making unreasonable financial demands or flouncing off on his huffy bike. The piece is on this thread, somewhere, buried beneath festering hillocks of humanure. Good luck in finding it. That is your mission, Jim, should you choose to accept it. This tape will self-destruct in 30 seconds....
I read it, well the bit that you allowed me to read 😃

The longer this goes on the more credibility the club loses.
Ridiculous to sack Johnson and McAllister and leave Dodds and Proctor in charge-
Ridiculous to ship out Flanagan and Younger and not have a cast iron certainty coming into replace them.
Ridiculous to have been left in a position where Keane could walk into the interview room and not be an equal but one up to KLD's and Speakman's one down, with all the clamour, all the noise for his appointment.
I'm bored with this now. A sense whatever happens it's going to be an anti-climax.
If it's Keane it should have been announced by now.
This feels like coitus interruptus.
You know, when you're so keen to get on the vinegar strokes and something spoils it.
