I agree, he definitely has the right sentiment and sees our potential. I just doubt he has the skills to get us up.

I'd honestly be happy with Neil tbh, I'd argue he's a safer bet. I'm definitely in the minority though.

To be honest, I would accept Alex Neil. However, McCann or Lennon would be utter lunacy. I am just really disappointed by how lacking in imagination this managerial search seems. I thought we would be going for a reputable, young head coach. Keane wasn't my first choice but it has to be him now, otherwise the 'Ownership Group' will finally see that our patience has come to an end.

We've tried 2 'progressive' managers at this level and they can't deliver. Keane might just work, who knows.
We don't know. Different opinions I guess. I'd love to be proved wrong, as Keane as good as he was 15 years ago would be class. I just don't want to have another total rebuild job if it goes tits up.

That seems apparent already
At what point does Speakman accept any responsibility, he has total autonomy over all football matters at safc. At the moment he looks like a total fuck up. His bottling out of leading the first team after Johnson was sacked stinks to high heaven, far easier to throw the other 3 lads under the bus.

If they are only willing to offer any of these candidates a deal till the end of the season it's quite harsh considering the position we are in and how far behind our rivals we are. Basically saying unless they achieve promotion they'll be peddled in the summer. Even though last summer they kept Johnson on after he failed to get us promoted. I would be very surprised any of the supposed front runners would accept a deal that short unless they were very confident of getting us promoted and getting offered a better deal here in the summer. Only person who was willing to take it that short was Warnock but don't think we've been Interested in him

This is what the delay will be I reckon
