Too right. And he made one by liking an Instagram post from sportsbible about Roy Keane. It was naive and immature if no announcement was imminent and no deal was sealed.

These things matter to supporters. Football clubs and their supporters aren’t toys, there is a lot of emotional investment from people and that has to be handled with care and thought.

Appointing McCann will cost the club more in the long run. He won’t be giving any leeway at all from the fans and every tactical decision that goes against us or every poor substitution will be scrutinised under the microscope and he will be hounded out.

If the ownership group can’t see this then I’m worried.
