Speakman and Keane have been getting on like a house on fire. So well in fact that when Keane asked Speakman not to announce him as manager until Wednesday because he didn't want to take charge of these two games with no training ground time, Speakman agreed and even said he'd take all the flack from supporters by making up some bullshit about processes, shortlists and second interviews.

Aye, and was smuggled back to White Mare Pool afterwards and made his way back to Chesire in the stolen Merc from there.
