Speakman has really ballsd it up with that interview Saturday. Should have said absolutely nothing and just appointed Keane. This is something I'd have the two chancers do

He’s full of shit IMO, I was told that before we even appointed him.

I’ve never known a club make such a mountain of a mole hill. He expressed that the sacking of Johnson wasnt down to the Bolton game but a culimination of issues, If that was the case how have we still not identified a manager? Did they honestly think Proctor was a better shout than Johnson at getting a result off Doncaster? The whole thing is a shambles.

Its at the point now whereby appointing Keane is the only option that wont cause an implosion. Even appointing Keane now has took the shine off it, 2 games further into the season without a manager yet deeming automatics as a priority.

They havent a clue what they are doing its fairly obvious. I don’t even think Keane, on the basis of what they have told us about wanting a philosophy and playing style, is even right if im honest.

His options are:

- Do what the overwhelming majority of supporters want and his employer for that matter, and pick up the phone to RK and tell him they want him up here tomorrow to sign.

- Put the blocks on Keane, expect 15k gates by the close season and a backlash from the fans which will make the Murray protests in 06 look tame as owt

- Resign


If the bloke has any ounce of sense and respect for this football club, I certainly know which of those I'd be doing ASAP.
