I'll have to give that a watch on my dinner.

On sat, we were west stand just near the dugouts, those two man just stood there like 2 blokes talking to each other along the lines of 'ee my missus got my this jacket for xmas, canny warm but there's no inside pockets which i do like!' 'Personally I think that's a nice coat Doddsie, oh our lass is getting a fish supper on the go tonight can't wait'.

Embarrassing.
Team are all going into the dressing room, whilst Proctor and Dodds are slowly walking around the half way line taking it all in.

Honestly man, it's actually funny. We are an absolutely rank average League 1 side, on the field and off it.

The only part which is Premier League level is the fanbase.

I thought the whole point of having the setup and structure we have was to easily transition from one head coach to another?

I was by no means an LJ fan but if they were looking to get rid of him they surely should have had the next man ready and waiting.
Well if Saturday was evidence of a common philosophy running through the club there's cause to be really bloody worried. There was no distinct pattern of play.

I tend to agree but suspect the (possibly unexpected?) emergence of Keane as a potential candidate has hoyed a spanner in the works....

Well, if the purpose of stringing this out is to build anticipation…. Sorry but they’ve failed spectacularly as I really don’t give a fuck anymore.
This. Was buzzing for a quick appointment, thought we would beat Doncaster with keane at least in the stands, maybe Rotherham would slip up and automatic promotion would be on, especially with defoe available to hopefully fire a few goals in.

Instead we lose, they win, there's no news about the head coach position and automatics are virtually gone. So unless defoe has a mint play offs it seems a bit of a pointless signing tbh. Not likely to be playing next season, so he's been brought in purely for this and we've at least half fucked it up one game in. Even the buzz of getting Keane is tempered by the fact it now has to be a longer term deal because it would be incredibly harsh to expect him to deliver promotion from here with about 3 months to work in. Depressing as fuck, as always. If they end up getting Neil or someone instead they'll get a massive shock around renewal time

Watched the N Forest game at the weekend.......if thats the standard of player in a mid table /playoff championship side ...power! pace! and skill!.... They made our team look like a bunch of zimmer frame using borrowers! We have a mountain to clime to get promoted and a miracle to stay there if we don't sort our club out ..Hiring keane might be the first step on that long long road to mid table championship mediocrity and beyond.

Its a big decision and i have no faith in speakman to make the right gamble!......as thats what it is for all the candidates.........and you usually go with the familiar when under pressure and that's a LJ clone for Speakman. So im hoping KLD balls have dropped and he overrides speakmans choice and goes with Keane.

Grayson
Coleman
Ross
Parkinson
Johnson

Then add one of

McCann
Lennon
Neil

to that list. Absolutely grim.
Are you saying Keane's out of the running?
Also i'd say Grayson, Coleman, even Parkinson (i'd add Moyes) had to work in pretty challenging circumstances ie the owners pretty much shat on us recruitment wise. Maybe even they would have done better with a better committed regime. I'm not hating on anyone really - it's always a gamble - even Keane would be - but i'd prefer Keane. He respects our club.

Agreed and embarrassing.

That’s literally what Speakman said when he was taken on

The club’s a shambles man.
Aye. I don't think he's done a bad job on the player recruitment side, but he's totally fluffed a major part of his remit unless the entire media are way out on the names under consideration. What's the point of a DoF who comes up with a list of candidates seemingly based on nothing more than being a recently sacked lower league manager?

Wise words, the club should pay heed, you pretty much said ambition = 💷, from my own point of view if they screw this up, the backlash will be massive.

It is a done deal already man… just wait for the announcement. Won’t be much longer.
How much is longer? By close of today? The weekend? Next week?

If agreed my thinking would have been 'Disaster Saturday, RK announced Monday AM, new week, get him into training, put everyone at the club and the fanbase on a fresh footing for the week ahead and a spring in the step'.

Look at the state of the pair of them on the "access all areas" video for the match on Saturday. Walking around on the pitch with massive smiles on their faces as if they're a couple of fans who've won a competition to manage the side for a couple f***ing matches.

f***ing amateur this club like. It's absolutely embarrassing.

What were they meant to do? Act all grumpy for the cameras?

That forest side I watched yesterday would murder us, they butchered a premer league side.
