Chappers just now introducing the FA cup with Micah Richards saying it's his last TV appearance before he joins Keano as his number 2 😂😂 Very good.
That's exactly why I tuned in from the start, was hoping there'd be some sort of micah/keano reference

Just to clarify it said...what could be his last.......however I agree there is little doubt about it after both his and Keane's response. Love MR and think their opposite personalities could work well for the team.

Whatever you say mate.
Quick question though.
If Roy Keane had not been on there as a pundit, do you honestly think they would have opened up by talking about our managerial situation?
Not interested in rhetorical questions. They were talking about us on itv at 7.30 on a Friday night in front of millions. To say this hasn't registered Outside of the North east, as you did, is bollocks.

Wrighty absolutely loving that ! I’d love to know what was said between them all before the cameras started rolling 😀
I dare bet roy said we will have a laugh but you can only say this or I’ll pull the f***ing lugs clean off ya. After all he’s the boss

Never used to like Wright but the last few years when he's done podcasts and that he's come across really well.

2 things.
1/ It's not rhetoric, it's a valid question, even if you try to bat it away as it is inconvenient to your argument.
2/ It has only registered outside of the North East because it's Roy Keane.

That's why his appointment is soooo important.

As fans though, not as coaching staff. We don’t demand nor “deserve”, trophies. The club and its history should in itself be a message to that wanker Downie. Who the fuck does he think he is telling the football world we are irrelevant. Does he think being a North East correspondent is relevant? The twat thought we were relevant the moment the final whistle went against Lincoln the other week.
Downie is a clown but if he'd said we are not national newsworthy He would be right,as nobody except the teams in the premiership are!
The only thing great about our club today is its fans and I would argue that their loyalty alone deserves success .

Wishing though gets you nowhere its money that runs the game and bottom feeders like sky and Downie are the seagulls following the trawler.

Story about Wrighty. We played them in the Cup years ago '97 I think (1-1, in the replay Bergcamp scored a worldie) at Highbury & I worked for Nike at the time doing the Arsenal kit launches.

Got tickets in the box & took my then very heavily pregnant wife. He wasn't playing but came into the box & waited hand & foot on the Mrs. At one point he was massaging her shoulders 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It is rhetorical, you're talking about a hypothetical scenario.
My argument was that it has registered nationally, which you said it hadn't. Now you're agreeing with me and saying it has, so I'm done.

I would also like to add before I go and get pissed and watch my beloved Sunderland, I couldn’t give a fuck what mags or Keith Downie says, Sunderland are and always will be relevant. We could get beat today, we could even fail to get promotion but anyone with an ounce of interest in English football, with the exception of those with a bias and an agenda, will f***ing well know it. If you can get under the skin of people like Roy Keane, well you are doing something right. We all know what happens if you can turn this club around, fans and club all singing from the same hymn sheet, it can sometimes feel like an unstoppable juggernaut. We don’t demand success, titles or cups like another club I could mention but we should damn well demand the respect that this f***ing club deserves. Sky boy wankers can fuck right off
Haway me Bonny lads

Absolutely. It was news when we lost 6.0 to Bolton. It was news when we signed Deofe.
