Honestly just seeing him tonight has got me excited thinking about that first 2 years with him in the Championship and first year in the Premier League. Anyone who isn't deep down excited is a f***ing idiot. He can do it. Whether he will or not is utterly irrelevant, he is exactly the same bloke who took us from champ relegation to champ winners based on nothing but sheer force of personality and our belief in him.

Fully on board with this.

Must have because I don’t only have fond memories of Keane. The problem he had, like many others was getting players to come to the club! Diouf was a decent footballer!
My abiding memory of Diouf wasn't the knife thing, or how crap he turned out to be, but an interview in either a match day program or ALS (forget which)...."what's your favourite food?"
"Dolly Mixtures'
Nut job

Like a kid at Xmas. Very excited. I just want to give it a 100% instead of ambling aimlessly in this woeful league.

Love Roy top bloke, I do wonder if he has been offered a short term deal that he's not quite happy with though, i can see him enjoying working with the players we have in our squad and working as a head coach obviously having the final say on players of course, but maybe he wants it longer than what has been offered.
Maybe it's already done and I'm just pissing my cowies.

Been traveling all day, trying to keep tabs on the absolute chaos while on the move.

I’d like an announcement tomorrow post game so I can check out for a bit and enjoy my vacation.

If he’s there today it’s his job. In all honesty I don’t want him back as I just can’t see it working or tie in with the clubs new philosophy. I love the bloke and the memories his sides provided. However with all the hype it’s already generated anyone else is on a hiding to nothing so I think the owner is going to have to give the majority what they want. That would seem to be Roy Keane.

This club needs a massive shot in the arm…. Right now it is in a situation where it could just start to wallow in a moribund situation (it’s 4 am and I’m struggling for words a bit) anyway we are in one of those f**k it just do it moments so let’s just get on with it….

Know what you mean. Short term it might just get us over the line. Although I d rather not go with Keane, the hype surrounding it is starting to make me think. Fuck it. Go for it.
