Not worked up at all mate  just think there's loads of drivel posted from the same posters who 'knows stuff'. They whip people up in a frenzy and then the club suffers when it doesn't happen and people kick off.

I still think it will be Keane but clearly won't be soon.
I love the inside gossip, but a fair few appear to enjoy the tease, which pisses me off.

Doesn't give the impression that we're a well run club does it?

I do like a lot of what we're doing (e.g. recruitment), but this has been managed poorly IMO.

From the owner liking posts about Keane, to clearly being miles off the pace when appointing a successor.

Starting the recruitment process after sacking the manager might be the "right" thing to do as per Speakman, but it is naive in the extreme.

IMO Keane (if he is their first choice) should have been sounded out and then been ready to go a day or two after Johnson was sacked.

The fact that numerous places report that Grant McCann, probably the laziest appointment that could be made, is second choice if Keane turns it down suggests not a lot of thought has really gone into it.

It's naivety is what it is.

I'd rather give ourselves the best chance of being promoted than crediting ourselves for not doing what is common practice in football.

If we're not willing to get our hands a bit dirty and do what 99.99% of clubs already do, we'll be left behind. It's as simple as that.

Integrity won't do a whole lot for Speakman and co if that happens, and it won't buy them much support with the fanbase when push comes to shove either.
As I say, I know I'll be in the minority but I'd personally rather do things right even if that means there's a ceiling in what we can achieve.

I'm saying that the statement in the email is factually correct at the time it was sent. To say nothing about it would cause massive expectations which may not be met. It could still be announced tomorrow morning. KLD seems to subscribe to underpromise and overdeliver - far better than the other way ro

Apparently, all the interviews are finished. So, are we waiting for Roy to make a decision on us, or the other way round. Or! Have we went another direction?
I think there is a lot going on, with the game tonight and preparations for our game and they don't want to cause a distraction, so an announcement will be after the game is over, probably Sunday. A guess only.
