If we're going for an out of work manager, which we clearly are whether it's Keane or not, the deal should have been all but done and dusted before the current manager was sacked.

WBA were a perfect example of it.
Speakman said on the Unfiltered podcast that it would have been wrong and disrespectful to approach people whilst the current coach was still in situ. I know most won't agree but I admire their integrity in a world where it's in short supply.

Even if the club have made a decision, it makes commercial sense for them to not announce it until after tomorrow.

They’re already going to have close to 40,000 tomorrow. If they announce Keane next week they pretty much guarantee it for the next home game as well
We’re trying to get promoted. 17 games for him to work his influence has now become 15 games
