Its just wrong to call the manager of the champions of the league we want to get out of 'a no-mark'. It would be a big come down compared to Keane but he is probably a decent coach who could fit into our model. Hull last year were a team that had passion, self belief and real attacking intent.C'mon, we can't be teased with Keano all week and then end-up with some no-mark like McCann.
If you were Charlie (when clearly you’re not) would your recommendation to the board be to appoint Keane?of the names mentioned..warnock, mccann lennon, keane, keane is the best option
Or maybe they'd like an on-air 'scoop'?Unless they let him miss it.
They told us that they had interest from all over the world and when you look at the names being considered, apart from Keane it is a huge step down.C'mon, we can't be teased with Keano all week and then end-up with some no-mark like McCann.
True.Unless they let him miss it.
of the names mentioned so far..if those were the only options..then yes.If you were Charlie (when clearly you’re not) would your recommendation to the board be to appoint Keane?
I'd like to know how anyone gets a 45 plate when they aren't released yet.
Outside of those mentioned, who would be your recommendation?of the names mentioned so far..if those were the only options..then yes.
What a daft thing to do.Oh no. Speaking to others on the board ffs. If he ends up holding talks with the Chuckle Brothers he will run a mile.
Me wife is a teacher and when Ofsted comes round they get all the naughty kids in the school and take em out somewhere for 2 or 3 days. We need to exercise similar, tie them up in a broom closet somewhere out of sight.
What they meant was that Keane, Lennon, Warnock, McCann, Neill etc had contacted SAFC while on their holidays due to the PL break. They told us that they had interest from all over the world and when you look at the names being considered, apart from Keane it is a huge step down.
Gordon Armstrong reckons Charlie is pushing for Keane
Any competent contract lawyer (barrister or solicitor) could deal with the contract negotiations. So far as I know, a person is still permitted to engage a lawyer of their choice in regard to any legal matter (assuming the lawyer agrees to act, of course). I would imagine (but correct me if I'm wrong, which I might well be!) that the legal qualifications of a barrister or solicitor would supersede those of an agent (the latter would doubtless need to be licensed). The lawyer carries mandatory professional indemnity insurance which I imagine would provide greater protection to his client (in the event of an actionable act or omission) than anything an agent might offer (unless said agent also happens to be a lawyer, of course!).i thought unlicensed people were not permitted to negotiate under FA rules?
the previous lawyer, michael kennedy, was not a sports lawyer and his firm didnt offer that service-he did the work as a favour to his mates.
That’s what about a thousand people on here have said manBeen told by someone very itk....
No announcement today, nothing agreed on paper, just verbally.
If Keane wants it, its his...if he doesnt its MCann..
Advisor or negotiate? There’s a massive difference in the football you can easily rope someone in with a license to tick that box and correct he called in ‘favours’ but I’m sure someone that runs in that circle will sort him out, worth noting Reeves do deal with contractsi thought unlicensed people were not permitted to negotiate under FA rules?
