It’s the logical evolution of tabloid journalism mate. Say nothing important but say it loud enough and you get heard.
Aye. It's mirrored in many facets of society. You need look no further than the Prime Minister (his cabinet, his wife, her lover etc.) or the hypocritical cuckold formerly known as Prince Harry & his equally hypocritical, self-aggrandising spouse. Beneath much of it lies a bewildering sense of self-entitlement in perpetual struggle against a crushing sense of inadequacy, or so it seems to me. I find it both deeply sad & deeply annoying, but I will die soon, so that will be my blessed salvation, ha, ha.

Programme already printed and is devoted to JD.

Nothing presumably about Keane.

We won't hear anything until Sunday/Monday now I think.
Programme needs to be printed and published well in advance of a game. Keane was nowhere near in sight when they would have started printing....that was my job by the way. We used to do Boro's.

This update seems a little more promising

Oh no. Speaking to others on the board ffs. If he ends up holding talks with the Chuckle Brothers he will run a mile.

Me wife is a teacher and when Ofsted comes round they get all the naughty kids in the school and take em out somewhere for 2 or 3 days. We need to exercise similar, tie them up in a broom closet somewhere out of sight.

He doesn’t negotiate anything, he gets a lawyer to do that and to look over it, he has the same one as a lot of the Man Utd people from then. Although his main lawyer passed away, I’m sure they use the same firm
i thought unlicensed people were not permitted to negotiate under FA rules?
the previous lawyer, michael kennedy, was not a sports lawyer and his firm didnt offer that service-he did the work as a favour to his mates.

I f***ing love this 😂

Reminds me of the John Bishop line when the school rang up to tell his Dad he was dyslexic and advise on his future prospects “make sure your John can carry heavy things”

Why is grant McCann seemingly the only other option

No imagination that like

Thought we’d be casting our net wider
I'd imagine we will talk to 4 or 5 possibly some we don't know about or haven't been touted in the press. Last time we were told they talked to Johnson, Cowley and Poyet. This time it may be more of which McCann is one.

"the best man for the job", if that is Keane all well and good, but if not and McCann is next in line that is a f***ing chasm. Surely if it isn't Keane there must be someone in between, why does it have to be Poyet or Johnson, Keane or McCann? Why can't there ever be two suitable candidates that, whilst I would have a preference, I wouldn't mind either way instead of falling off a cliff
