Think people are getting carried away with 11 years. He’s not been out of the game for 11 years.

It means in the past decade * he hasn't managed anyone*.

His stats as a club manager in the past decade are the same as yours or mine. There aren't any.

Of the two clubs he has manged before then- so in a completely different era- I looked it up and it's 42% at Sunderland and 34% at Ipswich.

Ipswich is a slight misnomer if you ask me.
They were appalling. Whereas we are 3rd and it’s down to the managers bottling it that we’ve not gone top.

At least keane has some track record of being successful at the club. Why the clamour for Phillips?
 
Johnson managed to bamboozle speakman with a shit cv so fek knows what mccanns managed to do with a promotion on his cv. Speakmans management speak bullshit will balls this up. Would be very surprised if keane agreed to work under this bloke.
