Footy Insider have been spot on about all stuff SAFC for the past year. For me it's Keane's if he wants it, if not McCann will have it.
Neither would have been near my top picks. Same old manager merry go round or someone who hasn’t managed for 10 years.

I hope they are steering Keane towards an up and coming coach as his assistant because I can’t see him being a long term appointment.

I think Keane would get the Lge 1 job done, as he did last time in the Championship. After automatic promotion from league 1, a season of consolidation in the Championship, then he the problems would start, he would get bored, over familiar or start pissing people off. Its the nature of the man, Great short term appointment, but not long term. A good assistant, who could later pick up the reins would be key for long term success, but as a quick fix, I think he would be an excellent appointment.
He wouldn't settle for a season of consolidation and neither would I. You have to aim for the f***ing stars not the moon. If you fall short fine but you've got to give your all to be the absolute best we can be. Anything else is wasted time

I want the premier league. Why the fuck wouldn't I?

It’s absolute bollocks to suggest our promotion was based on bullying. Plenty of players that worked under him at the time have been full of praise for him. He drove the standards up here when he first came in. Every manager in the game will have players that would’ve disliked them but the vast majority of people that have commented on their time under him have been full of praise.
That is it in a nutshell for me. He wanted to win every game he played in and he wanted his players to do the same as a manager.

I’m in.

It is possible to dislike your gaffer on a personal level while at the same time time respect him if he makes you better at your job.
