Roy Keane

For where we are now, Keane is a great shout. I don't see many really good head coaches clamouring for the job. The list of favourites is massively uninspiring. We should, barring a collapse, get at least a play off spot. So it's a good time to gamble. If we're to get top two we need an instant impact, preferably with the fans massively behind it. Keane will at least boost everyone's morale, similar to defoe coming back. I also like the fact we've got a young squad. Players that will be excited to work with Roy Keane and will want to listen to and learn from him, more so than they would from Alex Neil or Grant McCann.

If it works it could get us up, whether automatically or not. Either way it'll give us time to see how he does, and him time to work in the "system" and see if it suits him. If not, he goes and we're in the summer where there's likely to be much better availability of candidates. I don't really see a down side to this. There's question marks of course, but we're in league one, there would be question marks against anyone prepared to come. I hope it happens and I think both parties will be sensible so that, if it doesn't work, it's easily ended on both sides. But if it does work we could be in for one hell of a ride

Keane, his back room staff, Defoe etc.
let’s get some fuckin standards and professionalism back into the club.

Having just watched methven pretending to be tiesto waving his arms around doing his best David Brent impression, we are ready for some proper footballing people back in the club. The bloke is a winner, born and bred. Give him the job and the tools he wants.
Getting more and more erect here

Seems odd that the poster I have just put on ignore is more than happy to champion Roy’s unfaltering desire and passion to ignite a fire in the bellies of the players yet shies away from justifying his appointment by extolling his virtues in the dugout. His tactical nous. His effective team formation he best uses. That part he avoids strangely the coward.
Another one on ignore 😂😂😂

Blimey. I've been off the internet most if today. I'm normally someone that says you shouldn't look back at former managers, but I think Keane would be a better manager this time. Has the benefit of experience and I'd expect the backing of the club and fans. The players would really respect him too.
