Maybe my post has been misinterpreted going by the first two replies. Keane is a poor appointment, but he’s infinitely better than McCann or Neil, who are garbage. Having said that if we appoint Keane, KLD is a waste of space and we might as well have kept Short. It also means Speakman is a waste of space.

Yes, I think he'll get us up automatic mind. And I wasn't particularly in favour of getting him. But I'm quickly warming to the idea.
 
Ignoring what he did with us. His only other managerial job with Ipswich he did pretty shite and was sacked after 18 months.

No arguing with his profile and character.

But frankly he had never proved to be a good manager. Take the fact its Keane out the equation and if judging his record very few would want him
