Who else on here was on the carriage on train back from Sheffield Wed when we sang the Keano song (without a single break) all the way back to Central Station? I’ll never forget that magical experience and I would only have done that for him.

Stop f***ing about with league 1 failures KLD. If you want this club to rocket, get Keane.
Aye I was in same carriage as you - ya never shut up all the way back

Definitely not for me, it would be an appointment from the heart and not from the head. He has no recent managerial experience and isn't necessarily one for tactics, which in the modern game is only going to get you so far.

There might be a short term bounce but would end up with some sort of falling out and his departure before too long. I just can't see it being a sensible appointment for the longer term foundations of the club which is why I don't think it will happen.

Of course he is the choice of many supporters, but that is based on emotion rather than any rational consideration of the longer-term. It is a definite no from me and I would much prefer we looked abroad for some new ideas rather than the run of the mill British and Irish candidates.
Pretty much sums up my feelings.
