Roy Keane

It shows how completely muddled their thinking is, despite all their talk.

I could understand a shortlist made up of, say, Roy Keane, Duncan Ferguson, and John Terry.

I could understand a shortlist made up of, say, Grant McCann, Paul Cook and Neil Warnock.

I could understand a shortlist made up of three Under 23 coaches from Premier League sides.

But as their shortlist is made up of two absolute polar opposites, it's blatantly obvious that they haven't got a clue what they are looking for, other than the usual recruitment model under Stewart Donald - first look at who is available, next look at who is cheap.
Exactly. Obvious they don’t have a plan and sacked LJ just because we lost 6-0. It’s like Short/Donald all over again.

Whoever gets the job if its not Keane, it's not their fault that the club didn't appoint Keane so there's no point going for them personally, other than based on their qualities or lack thereof... so, to recap, don't go for the useless twat because he's not Keane ;)

Why did KLD like that tweet last week if it wasn’t happening? Why was keane so happy with himself on tv over the weekend? I still think it has to be keane. Maybe a hold up but surely it has to be him

This report is nearly a week old - Louise Taylor's view

"If Keane decides against such an experiment and opts to remain in the studio, Louis-Dreyfus has strong backup options, most notably the former Middlesbrough managers and Jonathan Woodgate, and Grant McCann, recently dismissed by Hull. Sunderland were impressed by McCann’s achievement in leading the Yorkshire team out of League One last season.
Woodgate, too, did well as as caretaker manager at Championship Bournemouth last season and the former England defender has the added advantage of a friendship with Sunderland’s returning striker Jermaine Defoe.

The 39-year-old Defoe re-signed for Sunderland from Rangers on transfer deadline day and would enjoy working with Woodgate as the team endeavour to secure promotion to the Championship."

Someone should have been announced by. It's not like we dont have a game tomorrow.

Day 8 of no manager and all roads point to two out of work managers. Negations and interviews must have been done via carrier pigeon.
Gooch and Evans have block booked all of the AOL meeting rooms between themselves to try prevent a meeting with Keane going ahead as they're ****ing themselves.

Speakman - 'ffs nothing until the 23rd Feb for a room Roy according to our room booking system, does that suit you? If not we could always do April 24th?

its the normal route for DOFs because the academy is likely to be the biggest part of the football depoartment and gives them experience of budgeting, managing scouts, recruitment and negotating contracts.
The one bit it deosnt give them experience of is hiring first team managers-but the chairman at a club usually wants to be part of that...
Make it a bit Ibiza
