Surely he would have had input yesterday?

Either way he is responsible. Nigh on 40,000 there yesterday the team selection and tactics were so bad it was laughable.
For all we know Keane may have had input. The side was fairly obviously chosen on the basis they had something to prove. Often you get a reaction to that, we didn’t. I think it’s as simple as that, no need to read any more in to it.

Speakman is clearly very thorough in his work and the things we see and hear at SAFC are becoming, rightly or wrongly, increasingly like a normal large organisation, e.g. the words they use, the processes etc. I imagine there are improvement programmes, succession plans, people meetings, and all kinds of stuff like where I work.

In a normal business you would be very thorough in the interviews if the position was absolutely critical to business success, and that's what they are doing.

Of course in football, while undertaking a thorough process, you've lost two games in addition to those you lost to create the vacancy and there's absolute hell on.

What the fucks the point in interviewing Keano and getting us excited, if they had no intention of employing him. No one knows wtf is going on.

There’s a 1000 possibilities as to what’s going on, Keano arguing about the length of the contract, speakman worried about Keano being out the game too long, Methven and Donald not wanting Keano as he’ll shout about the shit state of the club in the press if it goes tits up etc.

If we end up with Grant McCann though I’ll be sick as a parrot.

Did Lee johnson tell you, Charlie?
now brian barry murphy..the man city u23 boss did..

I think there is a realisation in the club that Johnson's appointment was a mistake. Any analysis of his career to date would suggest his teams can't sustain form for the required length and his inconsistency is ineviatble. We really do need an appointment ASAP but this is crucial appointment and has to be right.

So f***ing what? We’re in the third division and will be for the foreseeable thanks to you, you absolute failure.
thanks to me? what dio i have to do with anything..im a huy who has neevr been involved with the club? safc are in the third division because ellis short ran it badly..then because donald and methven ran it badly...nothin to do with me

If we end up with McCann or an ilk appointment and we dont go up they will be lucky if there are 15,000 there next season.

A massive day or two for this club.
