It’s not about the speed of the decision! It’s about getting the right person. Clearly discussions started with Keane early last week. Keane is not straight forward - he has a contract with SKY - there will be contractual issues to resolve. SAFC are awaiting his response - not vice verse!

250k a year sounds about right to me. You don’t go and manage in league one for the money. If he was about the money he wouldn’t be leaving his current role.

I can’t see that being so much of an issue tbh he has always stated that he’s wanted to get back into management so he would definitely have a clause in his contract that if a job came up he could get out of it.
