Appointing McCann would be an average league 1 appointment made by an average league one DoF at what is dangerously close to becoming an average league 1 club.

Just give Keane what he wants (within reason).
I'm completely perplexed, to then come out and try to calm the fans pre match with frankie Francis today is odd. What's going on?
What was said before the match like?

I'm not saying he's our legend.
But why does that then preclude him from trying to repeat what he achieved here last time.
Using your logic, JDF is not our legend either because he was Spurs success first.
Jesus wept man, what you're saying is Keane can't go anywhere apart from Man Utd.

Of course he can but I don’t get the excitement about it.

He basically said there's a shortlist so it'll take time to pick the right candidate. So basically where we were a week ago

It's clearly amateur hour in the boardroom with this appointment.

Between the owner liking posts about a potential manager taking the job, to clearly being off the pace when it comes to appointing a successor to Johnson.

Another game now blown and automatic promotion not at all realistic.

At least we have our "integrity" due to not bothering to sound out a replacement before actually sacking Johnson.

I'm sure that will be of great comfort to the fans when we're slogging through the playoffs.

Clowns.

The players need leadership and direction.

Just in from the match and still cannot believe how bad we were.

What on earth did Dodds and Proctor say to them this week?

Whoever they appoint they need to do it asap or the playoffs will be beyond us

The RK thing isn't coming from the club, it's people on here and social media that have built it up saying it's close, or some saying it's done. We don't really know how close it is
Nah. We saw him on tv last night talking about it man. Then there's the Instagram stuff. It's not some wild fantasy started on here man 😄😄😄

Today went from a fairytale with the buildup to the match then turned into a nightmare! Hopefully it's Roy and he can turn this crock of shit around....

Speakman probably sat with a finger up his arse dribbling trying to decide what to do. Probably got another few weeks of interviews planned

After watching today I don’t think it’s a tactics thing. I wasn’t all that convinced about Keane initially. However today was all about desire and graft. Anybody who doesn’t graft (looking at you, Elliot) will be left out. He’ll have them absolutely rabid. There’s talent there. It’s the desire side that’s missing.

As Brian Clough once said "Players lose you games, not tactics. There's so much crap talked about tactics by people who barely know how to win at dominoes"
