KLD liking posts and what not looks like it’s going ahead, I hope it’s only 6 months with an option to extend because it’s a very risky option imo and I love Keane

We used to laugh at the mags over their Keegan and Shearer obsession. We are going the same over Keane and Defoe. We just lost 6-0 and it’s seems forgotten over a couple of big names.

I like Defoe but can’t stand Keane. Some of the things he’s said and done over the years are appalling. We will become Ireland reserves again and that won’t get us where we want to be.
I’ve got serious doubts about having Keane back too. I really enjoyed his time managing us but he’s been out of management for a decade.

We have literally hours of footage of him displaying that he has most ridiculously archaic view on football.

The game had well and truly outgrown his outdated philosophies long before he took the Ipswich job. I Shudder to think how far ot has surpassed him now with almost a decade out of management.

Plus he's a serial bottler. He walked out on Ireland, he walked out on us and he'll walk out on us again.
The game may have moved on in the Premiership but at our level , nothing much has changed . Not many teams at our level are playing like Man City .

I just don't know how he will like the setup here
It might suit him as all he has to concentrate on is the team and the playing side

That wheatsheaf said 18 month deal, he’s got an idea for his staff already and it’s all just on his decision tomorrow.

Was that the same fixture of the failed air guitar world record
There was a programme on Ch4 I think round the time, where some PR fella was trying to reignite various people's careers, and one week it was Saxon. It was this bloke's idea to get Saxon on at half time of their biggest gate of the season to drum up a bit publicity for the band. The band weren't keen IIRC but were coerced into doing it, and as we know it was an absolute disaster. Biff Byford was gannin leet when they came off.

Edit... the programme was Harvey Goldsmith's Get Your Act Together.

Yeah mate... the last SAFC kid that was half decent went on to captain and win the Champions League with Liverpool and play in the Euro Finals for England... Oh and he only has good things to say about the positive impact Roy Keane had on his career, "I wouldn't be where I am today without Roy Keane's influence"
I get your point , but I think hendo would have developed under most managers , I just think he's a dinosaur , it wasn't all Rosie under him , I think the club has changed direction and would hope KLD uses his brain and not his heart

Might be a good time to return to your old ways if you think roy keane is the answer , he would destroy these kids

Is there any evidence that he did it at Man U as a player or anywhere else as a manager. No-one seemed to question Fergie's methods when he was winning multiple titles.
