Roy Keane

This is amateur hour. We were top of the league last month. This effectively torpedoes the next 2 seasons. Who ever comes in now will fail and be sacked this time next season.

The sudden realisation must be sinking into Defoe now. I bet they gave him all the bollocks chat. He must be in cold sweats now, he’s still in his 14 day cooling off period

To me there is such a void between Keane and the other candidates mentioned, nothing in between, no one else that would inspire me
Its the same time and time again with this club, the sort of shit appointment that we will be trying to replace this time next year. We need Speakman out after the dreadful imbalance of the squad and this f***ing fiasco
This is part of the problem. Roy Keane shouldn’t have even been a viable option and none of our (current) competitors would be in this situation. Reality is tho, we have mismanaged it either through inexperience or incompetence and now find ourselves in a predicament. I mean I have no idea if it was ever viable to appoint Roy, I don’t know the demands he made or the constraints we wanted to place him under but it does appear from the outside that the club have dropped a bollock rather than Keane just fobbing us off.

If the reaction to this unofficial announcement doesn’t cause KLD to have a similar knee jerk reaction to the Bolton game and get on the blower offering Keane the world then I guess we weren’t overly bothered if he walked away.
