Completely agree with that but let’s be honest, Keane was probably never on their radar.
 

We’ve shown a lot of times that we are good enough. We’re just so inconsistent.

LJ would have finished 3rd (IMO) so I’d expect the same no matter who takes over

At a guess he wanted more control than Speakman wanted to hand over?

But after Speakmans men made such a magnificent job of highlighting the failings of our set up we went back to him.

Pure speculation on my part.
