As I say , a point away from home is only acceptable if you win your home games. So if we beat Preston then thats a plus for me.
He never stopped but he was our only attacking force. People who slag off Roberts now see what he provides- a threat on the right. Without that and no threat down the middle we are very unbalanced-and lack a goal scoring threat.

At least 5 times in the last 10 minutes he just booted the ball into the box not even trying to find someone. Still our best player by far but he looks out of ideas himself. He should try staying wide occasionally and putting the ball along the back to put their defenders under pressure, they just know he cuts inside everytime and anticipate it.

What have we seen in the three games he’s been here to suggest any positives or any clear change from what we’d done previously?
Leeds and Ipswich may not have beaten Rotherham but are above us in the table and have played some excellent stuff.
Middlesbrough may not have beaten Rotherham and are just behind us in the table but Carrick showed more than enough last season to have credit in the bank.
