*~*~* Rotherham v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Early days. But if he's not a miracle worker or one of the strikers or attacking midfielders suddenly turn into primer Ronaldo/Zidane its probably not going to improve drastically.

Blind man and his dog could see a drop off coming this season after Amad, Stewart etc leaving and not bringing in a bit of quality or experiencefor the likes of Evans, but rather kids and being another season of development for them. Add in letting Batth go, Cirkin and Alese injuries and the balance they give us and its mental were so close to the play off chasing pack.
Whilst I agree, we also made the coaching positions weaker. We're not helping ourselves in any area.

Speakman hasn't helped him one bit with that comment. I'm not exactly delighted he's here but it'll take a decent chunk of time to have them playing how he wants.

The worrying thing is that all the reviews on his style of play etc from Rangers and QPR fans are matching what we are seeing now.

Time will tell but I think he'll be a massive failure.

The ref seems a clown.

Blowing every time they go down for fuck all.

Neil cynically fouled earlier, should have been a yellow.

Same player dragging Neil's shirt off his back and just gets a talking to.

What changes did people expected within 2 weeks and about 4 training sessions between all the games?

True this. Mind I don't think we'll improve much in the short term anyway unless quality is brought in. But you're unlikely to make massive changes in less than a couple of weeks.
