We all know the problem. Not sure what can be done to stop it slipping further. t20 paydays or proper cricket?

Can we not adopt another code? Like they do in rugby. Only have players that play one or other. Again not sure on logistics but something needs to be done to stop the erosion of cricket.

County cricket has been allowed to die. Only this was an assisted killing. Straight outta Lords.

There’s no way they should play every county game like

They have 10 of the hardest tests in the world coming up

It’s a absolutely nothing to do with any of that

Root and Brook will play plenty of county cricket this season

They shouldn’t play every game they though

Yeah you're probably right mate. Brook and Root have been better at repeling the t20 monies. I apologise for being a broken record. It's just I'm old and set in me ways. County cricket was is the pinnacle of home grown cricket. The start of which had top players rostered to start, not resting to manage workload.

It's all gone bonkers.

Harry Brook literally just turned down ÂŁ650k...and got banned for another years. so over a ÂŁ1 million down the drain to play for England..and Yorkshire

deserves respect, cant think of too many people in sport who would do that
Only players who get rested are England players, who play more test cricket than anyone

Odd IPL lad...but there is not as many as people think
