Just watching the match again.
That save by Roofes at 1-2 , took me back to Peter Scmicheal in his pomp at Man U. He was great at making himself big,just as Roofes did.
Let's hope Roofes goes on to reach the same heights. Especially if we can keep him .

He’s the perfect modern keeper, and definitely who pep would have wanted in goal long term. For me he’s not there quite yet though and could do himself a lot worse than staying here for at least another year to iron out his game. Cannot for the life of me understand the jump to a basket case like Chelsea when he’s got much better options longer term.

I agree, though I think having Alonso in charge next year may appeal. You would think that they may become less of a basket case and more of a proper team.
