Ronaldinho and friends fiasco


What in the world was the op expecting from a game with ex players in their late 40s early 50s and non pros in boiling heat?. Serious question like as from what I saw it’s exactly what I thought it was a kick about for charity. Bit like me moaning about paying £180 for Elton John tickets a few years ago and expecting the coke fueled mid twenties bloke running around the stage and not a 70 plus bloke that needed helping on stage. What did you think it would be 🤣

I think KLD etc only stepped in because they realised Ronaldinho didn’t actually have that many friends that wanted to play. Like trying to organise a kick about with the lads from work

I used this new technique I’ve invented. It’s a bit radical mind. I didn’t fancy it, or the expense of it, so I didn’t go.

I didn't go as I just wanted to bask in the glow of Sunday, and I want to play golf a couple of times this week and it's all money.

I’m not sure what people expected from a group of blokes who haven’t played for about 5 years plus and have clearly been enjoying retirement. In some of the hottest temperatures we’ve had
