Seems like we could be heading back to the players who played youth football in the UK, that should please those who were sick of players who have only played abroa.....Oh nevermind.

I am not confident on the ST. There aren't many knocking about atm
Seems like a tough ask without overspending - sellers market and all that. Really annoying like but if you throw money in the toilet it affects your growth. They have to be better for long enough.

Same!
I don't understand why we're even looking at wingers this window. The most important signing we can make right now is someone to play dcm, I'd have one over a cf

We only have Ba and Clarke fit. Roberts is out injured. We needed numbers there. Exact same situation for the fullback.

I'm with you - I'd also prioritise a CM over a CF now that we've brought the other two in. Could be a game changer (literally) if we manage to get one.

If we've been planning this window since the last one we probably haven't even been looking for a striker as the club thought the 3 wide forwards/deep lying forwards (Rusyn, Burstow and Mayenda) plus an actual striker Hemir were going to be enough but unfortunately they've all been turd

Dajaku signed in league one and had an impact.
Bennette is still only 19 with plenty of time to make it here.
Lihajdi was here for 6 months and sold for a profit.

None of them had experience playing over here which this lad does. He’s far closer to Ekwah, Cirkin and Alese in terms of profile than those 3.
Dajaku was rubbish
Bennette 🤷‍♀️
Lihadji link?

If we're moving to more of a 433 like we saw Saturday we don't really need wingers. Clarke & Ba were narrow & very much level with the cf in Burstow to make a front 3. It means Rusyn & Mayenda can play in those roles, in fact we're told left of a front 3 is Rusyns best position so in answer to your question; Rusyn.

A really good point, to be fair. It still covers our bases bringing him in, however.

Clarke will more than likely be gone this Summer if we get a suitable offer. Getting someone in now, so that they know the team and the system by the time Clarke leaves is forward, long-term thinking.

We've seen how shite it can be when we bring players in and need them to get off to a fast start instantly (strikers). It was poorly handled; this, if anything, shows we've learnt from that.
