You're wrong mate the bigger or more successful a club is the more highly talented young players they will lose Manchester United have lost many players as have Chelsea, Arsenal and all of the other clubs in or around the top echelons of the EPL, this has been a growing trend for young talented players over the last 10 years or so.

Rather than sit on their ass knowing full well that they aren't going to get ahead of 5 or 6 top players in their playing position it is often better for them if they get first team football at a so called lesser club in the hope of fast tracking their career rather than stagnating in under 23 level football.
